2 Bend Stair Rail

The 2-Bend Stair Rail is a stainless steel handrail section featuring two bends, providing the angled geometry needed for pool stair and ladder configurations where the rail must change direction twice to follow the stair profile and reach the deck anchor points. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance for poolside and wet environment installation.

• Material: 304L stainless steel, 1.90" O.D. in .065", .109" or .145" wall. Marine grade 1.50" O.D. also available in .083" and .120" wall.
• Sizes: 48" (Spectrum #35125), 60" (#35126), 72" (#35127), measured horizontally on the centerline
• Rail height above deck: 32.6"
• Leg insertion into anchor: 4" per leg
• Setback: designed for 12" or less from the pool edge (6" nominal from the step nosing)
• Anchors: two 4" bronze wedge anchors required, not included
• Bend radius: 6" centerline
• Warranty: two year limited

Vertical Drop Between Anchor Points

The two legs land on different levels. The vertical distance between the bottom of the upper (deck) leg and the bottom of the lower leg is the same as the drop between the two mounting surfaces:

• 48" rail (#35125): 32" drop
• 60" rail (#35126): 40" drop
• 72" rail (#35127): 48" drop

How To Size Your Rail

The figures above are nominal, based on 8" step rise and 12" step run. Dimensions vary with the specific application and custom bends are available. To size a rail, measure the total vertical drop from your deck surface down to the surface the lower anchor will sit on, along with your step rise, step run, and setback from the pool edge.
