Same patented grip, compact length

The 40" ExoTube uses the identical patented exterior grip (U.S. Patent No. 6,475,047) that makes the ExoTube line the professional standard: a secure, non-slip hold even with wet hands and under rescue stress. The difference is size. At 40 inches it is easier to handle in tight quarters and a better match for smaller guards.

When to choose 40 inches over 50

The shorter tube is the practical pick for shallow-water facilities, indoor pools with cramped deck space, learn-to-swim programs, and rosters that include junior or smaller-framed guards. When a full 50" tube is more than the application calls for, the 40" carries the same build quality without the extra bulk.

Built for daily commercial use

The vinyl skin shrugs off UV, abrasion, and pool chemistry, and the reinforced tow line and torso strap keep the guard's hands free on approach.
