Competitor Backstroke Flags in the 12" × 18" size deliver maximum visibility for long-course (50-meter) and outdoor competition pools where larger flag pennants are needed for swimmers to sight the 5-meter backstroke warning mark at speed. The larger format is also preferred for outdoor pools where wind conditions can reduce the visual impact of smaller pennants.

High-Visibility Competition Equipment

Fade-resistant, water-resistant fabric maintains bright warning colors through repeated outdoor exposure and chlorine contact. The loop/clip attachment system works with all standard competition flag rope hardware. USA Swimming and FINA competition rules specify the 5-meter backstroke flag requirement — these pennants meet those specifications in the 12" × 18" format.
