About Us

Aquamentor began in a garage in Brooklyn over 40 years ago. As a lifelong swim lover & oceanic lifeguard for decades, my father invented aquatic equipment that would go on to save lives. Thus Aquamentor was born, all off of his passion for the water. He passed that passion down to me, & I have spent all of my life swimming competitively, swimming for serenity & meditation, swimming because it's where I feel most at home. It's my love of that great activity that's fueled my drive to grow Aquamentor into a company I'm proud to say helps get more & more people, young & old, into the water every year.

At Aquamentor, we're committed to constantly improving our various lines of products for the lifeguard, water safety and first-aid fields. We hold a number of patents in all three areas. Our best-known is the ExoTube™, the longest-lasting and most durable rescue tube to hit the market in 80 years ago. We began manufacturing the ExoTube™ ourselves in 2012, and continue to innovate and create new lifesaving and swim products. We've since expanded to nearly all facets of pool & open water product needs.

When we create & sell these lifesaving products at Aquamentor, we know exactly how important they are, because we have the unique perspective of being intimately involved with pool and ocean rescue techniques, and what lifeguards & first responders need to thrive in their duties. I'll pass that joy, passion & perspective to my children, so that the waterway can continue to flow.
